Deborah A. Pienovi, CPA

Debbie was the second employee hired after the founding of Perkins & Co in 1986, and is a living testament to our ideal of finding great people, keeping them with us and growing together. Before we grabbed her, Debbie worked in the tax department at national accounting firm, and before that as a math teacher. Since those early days, Debbie has had a great career in client work, playing an integral role as director of the tax department for several years and then becoming the firm's Chief Operating Officer in 2002. Off the clock, she has also established herself as quite the accomplished quilter.

Debbie is an indispensable member of our team, handling Human Resources & Internal Accounting. She is the go-to gal for any kind of question, and finds her prior training as a teacher to be invaluable in her current role. Debbie is so good at what she does, and has been with us for so long, that there is virtually nothing about this firm she doesn’t know.
