HR Benefits
You want more? We already promised you a positive environment and a balanced life. And you want more? Good. You deserve it. We want more too. At Perkins, we listen to what our employees value. Being a local firm gives us the advantage to do what our employees want. Great HR takes more than just having a sleek office, fun events and wild parties, all of which we do have, coincidentally.
Perkins & Co offers a competitive salary, 401K profit sharing plan, paid time off plan, annual performance based bonuses for managers and a comprehensive insurance package.
Ongoing training isn't just a benefit, it's a necessity. We provide comprehensive in-house, external and off-site training, including resources provided with our alliance with BDO Seidman. New hires receive 80-100 hours of training in their first year. This preparation will ready you for our accounting technology, processes and techniques for working with clients. There is only so much you can learn in a classroom. We also ensure our recruits will have access to managers to help answer questions and guide you along the way.
Accounting isn't what it used to be. While we believe in hard work, all employees can request a flexible work arrangement. You don't have to work long hours to be successful. Our employees do one to two weeks of work travel a year tops. It's so infrequent, you might actually look forward to it.
